How to connect a domain to Cloudflare

In short for the client: Cloudflare helps improve your website’s speed and security. You can connect your domain to Cloudflare yourself via the Cloudflare dashboard.
  1. Register or log in to your account at Cloudflare.
  2. Add your domain and follow the on-screen instructions.
  3. Cloudflare will automatically scan your DNS records. Review and confirm the details.
  4. Choose a suitable plan (a free option is available).
  5. After adding your domain, Cloudflare will provide new NS (nameserver) addresses.
  6. Go to your domain registrar’s panel (or Host4biz hosting panel) and update the nameservers to those provided by Cloudflare.
  7. Save the changes and wait for DNS propagation (can take several hours up to 1–2 days).
Additional information: - During DNS update, your website remains accessible, but some users might see the old version until the update completes. - All main domain and security settings are now managed through Cloudflare’s dashboard. - If you have trouble updating nameservers or any other questions, please contact Host4biz support.
