How to connect a domain to Cloudflare
In short for the client: Cloudflare helps improve your website’s speed and security. You can connect your domain to Cloudflare yourself via the Cloudflare dashboard.- Register or log in to your account at Cloudflare.
- Add your domain and follow the on-screen instructions.
- Cloudflare will automatically scan your DNS records. Review and confirm the details.
- Choose a suitable plan (a free option is available).
- After adding your domain, Cloudflare will provide new NS (nameserver) addresses.
- Go to your domain registrar’s panel (or Host4biz hosting panel) and update the nameservers to those provided by Cloudflare.
- Save the changes and wait for DNS propagation (can take several hours up to 1–2 days).
