If the power goes out
The UPS picks up the load at once, and the diesel generators then start automatically. Power arrives over dedicated medium-voltage lines, and two independent feeds run into the rack.
PL-2 is the data center of the operator NASK S.A., the second Host4Biz site, in another part of Warsaw and with engineering systems of its own.
PL-2 · NASK S.A. site · Warsaw, Poland
PL-2 is the data center of the operator NASK S.A., holding part of our Warsaw infrastructure. It is a site separate from PL-1, with engineering systems of its own.
1,000 m² across four independent server chambers are set aside for equipment. The Host4Biz infrastructure runs here continuously.
The level of the site is confirmed by an independent audit against an international standard: both the design and the built facility are certified.
Several independent lines stand between a city failure and your server.
The UPS picks up the load at once, and the diesel generators then start automatically. Power arrives over dedicated medium-voltage lines, and two independent feeds run into the rack.
Precision cooling runs in an N+1 layout: one air conditioner failing does not touch the hall. Cold and hot aisles help hold temperature and humidity all year round.
Early smoke detection catches ignition before open flame. Gas suppression works without water and without damage to equipment, and fire compartments contain the fire.
Physical security is arranged in three zones. The site is watched around the clock by the relevant NASK services.
The network infrastructure of the site is redundant. On our side we duplicate the links in the racks and use paired switches, so that one device failing does not break the network.
ANSI/TIA-942-B Rated-3 is confirmed for the architectural, telecommunications, electrical and mechanical parts, for the design and for the built facility alike.
PL-2 is a separate site in another part of Warsaw, and it is part of the shared Host4Biz infrastructure.
The Supermicro servers here are our own. Their configuration, load and spare performance are in the hands of the Host4Biz team.
Connectivity reaches the servers over two paths, and the network switches are joined into pairs. One failure should not cut the site off the network.
Between the racks the network runs at 100 Gbps. The external links terminate in the Host4Biz autonomous system, so we manage the traffic routes ourselves.
PL-2 is linked to PL-1 by redundant Host4Biz fiber. The two sites stay physically independent, while traffic between our equipment travels over an internal link and never touches the public internet.
What the second site is for, rather than simply more racks in the first.
The buildings, the power feeds, the engineering teams and the contractors differ between the two locations. That way the Host4Biz infrastructure does not depend on one shared engineering loop.
Our own redundant fiber connects the sites, so a project can be laid out across one city and one jurisdiction.
The Host4Biz infrastructure runs on both sites continuously, and neither of them is held in reserve.
You choose the service and the Polish location. If a physical server needs a particular site, PL-1 or PL-2, agree it with support before ordering.
Five NVMe plans with KVM and root access. They fit websites, stores, CRM, APIs and working services.
Choose a Linux VPS →For remote desktops, Windows applications and anything that needs a Windows environment. The license is included in the plan.
Choose a Windows VPS →CPU, disks and memory to fit the job. Every resource of the machine goes to you alone.
Choose a dedicated server →About where Host4Biz servers stand and about the second Warsaw site.
Yes. If a physical server has to stand at a particular site in Warsaw, write to support before ordering and we will agree on placement in PL-1 or PL-2.
Rated-3 means the data center infrastructure can be serviced and repaired without stopping the equipment. The rating is issued by an independent auditor, and at this site it was obtained both for the design and for the built facility — two separate checks, the second confirming that what was built matches the design.
Two sites with different operators give us separate engineering loops in one city. That does not automatically switch redundancy on for a service: the architecture of a project and the options it needs are chosen separately.
Yes. Both sites can be used for redundancy, replication or disaster recovery. Support will help choose the right service and placement scheme.
We will explain how the Host4Biz infrastructure in Warsaw is built and which service fits your case.
