Windows VPS is a virtual server running Windows Server with isolated CPU, RAM, and NVMe disk resources. You can connect to it via RDP, install Windows applications, and use it as a separate desktop or server environment.
Windows VPS is suitable for Remote Desktop via RDP, accounting and office software, CRM, internal business applications, admin panels, Windows application testing, and services that need to run continuously.
Shared hosting is suitable for a simple website. Choose Windows VPS when you need Windows Server, RDP access, your own Windows applications, isolated resources, or a service that must run continuously.
When the program the server is for also runs on Linux. A website, an online store, an API or a database gains nothing from a Windows environment, while the plan price carries a license you would be paying for with nothing to show. Windows earns its place where there is no way around it: accounting and office software, a company’s internal services, and work over a remote desktop.
Yes. The Windows Server license is included in the Windows VPS plan price. You do not need to buy it separately: the server is delivered with a licensed operating system and is ready to use after activation.
Windows VPS supports current Windows Server 2019, Windows Server 2022, and Windows Server 2025 versions. You can choose the OS version when ordering or reinstall it from the control panel when reinstall is available for the plan.
For one remote workstation or a small application, WIN20-1 or WIN20-2 is usually enough. For several users, CRM, a database, or a business application, choose WIN20-3 or higher to keep extra RAM, CPU, and disk resources available.
You do. A Windows VPS is self-managed: the system, the programs and the Windows updates are yours to set up and keep in order. What stays on our side is the machine itself, the network and the access to it; if one of those is down, support handles it.
There are two limits and both have to be counted. Resources: you get as many sessions as the CPU, memory and disk of the plan will carry: one or two workplaces fit the smaller plans, several at once need headroom.
Licenses: without them only administrators can reach the server. Every additional user needs a remote desktop license, a separate service at 10 usd per user per month. Tell us at the order how many people will work on the server and we will add the licenses.

Yes. You can attach an ISO image from the control panel when you need a custom installation or recovery environment. For a regular setup, it is easier to choose a ready Windows Server 2019, 2022, or 2025 template.
Open the VNC access (IP-KVM). It is a console that shows the server screen and keeps working even when the network or the system boot is broken: through it you can see what is going on and restart the machine. If the console does not help either, send a request to support.
A backup copy is taken every night. A restore is started by support: send a request from the client area and say exactly what needs to come back. If the data is critical, do not rely on the nightly copy alone: for a schedule of your own there is separate backup storage.
Add them to the current plan or move up to a larger one; both are done on request, and the system does not have to be reinstalled. The disk is the one to take with room to spare from the start: growing the Windows system partition takes planning rather than a single button.
The client area issues a European-format invoice, and a closing document is available once it is paid. The tax depends on who is buying: companies in the EU with a VAT number fall under reverse charge, outside the EU it is 0%, and private individuals in the EU pay the rate of their own country. It is set out in detail on the payments and documents page.
Windows is not always the answer. Here is where to look otherwise.
If the program also runs on Linux, there is no reason to pay for a license: the same data center and the same disks, and the plans start lower.
