What is backup hosting?
Backup hosting is a service for storing backup copies of data. No matter where the main data is stored – in case hardware fails, a backup copy stored on a remote server will always come in handy.
How will my data be accessible?
Data will be accessible through several protocols designed specifically for its transfer – FTP and Rsync. Additionally, every plan, except for Basic, includes SSH-access that allows to see what is stored on the backup server.
How do I set up a backup?
Many server control panels allow to configure data backup to a remote server with their internal functionality. If it is not an option, you can always contact our Customer Support and we will offer you the best solution and share our own backup script for Unix-like systems.
Which plan should I choose?
We did our best developing plans that will suit a great variety of projects and so that our customers can get high-quality service for a reasonable price. In case you need more or less resources, it is always possible to change the plan without additional costs – only service period of validity will change.
Is it safe?
Yes. The data of each of our customers is isolated so it is not possible to see what others store on a server.
Is it reliable?
Yes. According to independent monitoring system Host Tracker, availability of our service is over 99.6%. At the same time, we use enterprise-class hard drives and RAID arrays on backup servers to minimize the risk of service downtime.
